Sr.Auxilia SD- Sicilykutty, Panthiruvelil belonged to Ponkunnam, Holy Family Parish, Kanjirappally diocese. Her parents were Chacko and Alekutty.  She was born on Dec. 22, 1934, as the third out of five children. After taking bachelor’s degree, she joined SD Congregation at Chunangamvely in 1957. She made her first profession on Jan 6, 1960 and made her perpetual profession on June 5, 1964.

‘Service based on Love’ was her life principle.

She did B.Ed also and for twenty four long years (1971-1995) served as a teacher at Kasauli (Simla), Aluva Nazareth, Changanasserry, Kankippad and Nirmalgiri. Simple living and high thinking was hers and was a zealous Nun and hardworking, simple, humble personality. She enjoyed community life and had great sense of humour.  She was completely bed-ridden during her last four years. After receiving the sacrament of the sick she breathed her last on Nov, 20, 2021. May her soul rest in peace.
