Sr.Allese (Annamma) was the second among the four children of late Mr.Mathai Tellakathukuzhy and late Mrs.Thresiamma. She was born on 14 January, 1936, at Cheruvandoor, Changanachery Archdiocese. After high school she studied stitching and embroidery. From childhood onwards, she had the desire to become a nun and her parents were the main inspiration. Sr.Allese joined the Congregation in 1959 and made her First Profession on 7 January, 1961. Her Perpetual Profession took place on 30 May, 1965. Sr.Teresa Sankaramala SD and Sr.Anet Maria SD are her nieces. Sr.Allese worked as a teacher in different schools and engaged in parish apostolate. She was a person of great zeal and devotion, simple and pleasant in nature. She inspired many to join religious life, priesthood as well as to become good citizens serving the poor and needy. The suffering bretheren had a special place in her heart and served them seeing the face of the compassionate Lord in them. She worked in places like, Chunangamvely, Malayattoor, Perumanur, Nazareth, Kuzhippilly, Oonnukal, Nazareth – Thekkekkara, Podippara, Kodinattukunnu, Mercy Home and Provincial House. She had a constant awareness of the presence of the Lord. She was a mother and sister for the destitute ones. She appreciated and valued her call till the end. For about two years, Sr.Allese was leading a life of rest, due to various ailments, in the Provincial House. After receiving consciously, the Sacrament of the Sick, she surrendered her soul to the Lord of her life, on 5 February, 2017.
