Anpakam Home for the Aged

In response to the invitation of Mar Antony Padiyara, the Archbishop of Changanassery we opened a convent at Munchirai in the District of Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on 13 December 1980. The Archbishop donated the land and built a Home for the poor and the aged called ‘Anpakam’. In the beginning there were both male and female inmates.
