The inauguration of the Kudamaloor Asha Kendra Multi-Rehabilitation Centre, the fifth such centre of the SD St. Joseph Province, was held on March 19, 2025, at 2:15 p.m. The blessing ceremony was led by Fr. Sebastian Vaniyapurackal (Syro-Malabar Curia Bishop). The inauguration was conducted by Kottayam DYSP, K. G. Aneesh. Archpriest Fr.Mani Puthiyidam of St. Mary’s Church, Assistant Vicar Fr. Prince, SD St. Joseph Provincial Superior Dr. Sr. Deepthy Jose, sisters,  Asha Kendra Director Adv. C. Jyothis SD, Mental health experts Dr. Jomon K.George, Dr.Deepak Joseph (S.B. College), and Dr. Elizabeth Alexander (K.E. College) and local residents attended the ceremony. Children’s cultural programs and a love feast added charm to the event.
