“I come that may have Life, and have it abundantly” (Jn 10/10)
The aim of the healing ministry is to provide medical aid to those who suffer from physical and mental illness and pain and at the same time to enable them experience the compassionate love and peace of Christ. We have to help the sick to unite their sufferings with that of Christ who was crucified and glorified for the salvation of all. We shall be able to evangelise the centres of our healing ministry by shedding the light of the Gospel values on the paths of life, suffering, and death of the sick. The members engaged in this service are called upon to acquire a deep spirituality that will enable them share divinity through humanity. In order that the brethren around us may be able to avail themselves of our service, we shall live entirely for them. The poor shall always receive our special consideration. We shall courageously go out with a helping hand to the ugly side of the modern world which fatally affects the future of individuals and society with problems like AIDS, the use of alcohol, abortions, the addiction to drugs, psychological diseases, suicides etc.
