‘Friends for the Needy’ is a rehabilitation centre for the mentally ill patients. On 12 April 2012, this centre was handed over to us by Miss Gita, a Sister of Caritas Institute. Srs. Mary Rani (Sup.) and Sr. Lima Rose were the pioneers. They pay attention to the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of the
inmates. Sisters try to draw them out of their world and engage them in useful activities. The centre is run by the contributions of the local benefactors.
