At the invitation of Rt. Rev. Kasmir Gynadikiam, the Bishop of Vellore, we opened a convent with a dispensary in a small house on 24 January 1994. Srs Lima Rose (Sup.), Ann Maria and Mary Ann were the pioneers. Due to the tireless effort of Sr.Rose Vadakkethakidiyil, the headmistress of L.P. School, the
Parish School was upgraded to the higher secondary level. This school has paved the way for the rapid progress of the village. The dispensary and St.Agnes Welfare Centre, is a blessing to the people around. Sisters have been taking pains to build up a strong Christian community through family visits, catechism and other parish activities.
