” I must proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God to the other cities also; for I was sent for this purpose” (Lk 4:43)
The goal of the missionary activity of the Church is to preach the Good News of Christ to people who have not yet heard the Gospel and to cultures where Christ has not reached so far, accepting the Divine invitation: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you” (Mt 28: 19-20).
Anointed to preach the Gospel to the poor, we shall use all our talents for this, burning with zeal to proclaim the salvific message to the ends of the earth. We shall find joy in sharing with people all over the world the great gift – the gift of His love – we have received from Christ. Through our missionary activities, we continue Christ’s mission of love and services “…that they may have life, and have it abundantly”(Jn. 10:10). We endeavour to accomplish this mission by striving for the liberation, progress and perfection of the frustrated humanity.
